Dunamis” (Greek: δύναμις) is a term originating from classical Greek that conveys the idea of “power,” “ability,” “might,” or “strength.”
Parakletos is (Greek: παράκλητος) "one who pleads another's cause before a judge, a pleader, counsel for defense, legal assistant; an advocate."
What is Dunamis and Who is Parakletos?

Dunamis” (Greek: δύναμις) is a term originating from classical Greek that conveys the idea of “power,” “ability,” “might,” or “strength.” In the biblical context, it encompasses miraculous power granted by God, moral power for righteous living, and the vitality of divine purpose unfolding in both cosmic and personal events. The term eventually gave rise to such English words as “dynamic” and “dynamite,” underscoring the idea of force and energy.
Parakletos is (Greek: παράκλητος) "one who pleads another's cause before a judge, a pleader, counsel for defense, legal assistant; an advocate." The Parakletos is not an impersonal force but a divine Person. Masculine pronouns accompany the title in John, underscoring personality. He teaches, reminds, testifies, convicts, and comes—activities reserved for a self-aware being. His personhood preserves the distinction yet unity among Father, Son, and Spirit, reinforcing Trinitarian theology.

About us
Dunamis Parakletos is operated by Chan "rangerham" Ham. He is a retired U.S. Army chaplain (lieutenant colonel) and former light infantry soldier and chaplain served with Stryker, SFAB, Airborne, and Special Operations Forces units. He holds both the Master of Divinity (MDiv) and Master of Theology (ThM) degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary, where he also studied advanced systematic theology under the late Dr. Colin Brown. Throughout his Holy Spirit ministry career, Chan has been recognized for his prophetic and apostolic ministry across domestic and international settings. His dynamic preaching and pastoral leadership have reignited the fire and passion of the Holy Spirit in people of all ages and backgrounds.
Empowered by his God-given gifts and deep love for Jesus, he has profoundly influenced countless lives. Drawing from his extensive experience in theology, strategic leadership, and military operations, LTC Ham offers a rare integration of geopolitical insight, New Testament scholarship, systematic theology, praise and worship, and practical charismatic ministry. His teaching and mentorship continue to inspire believers and leaders worldwide toward spiritual renewal and life-changing service.
Over the years, Chan has been invited to numerous Holy Spirit ministry meetings and services, where God has worked through him to preach the gospel, lead souls to repentance and salvation, cast out demons and healing, administer deliverance, impart the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and serve in prophetic ministry. Just as God called Moses—at the age of 80 through the burning bush—to confront Pharaoh and lead the Israelites out of slavery, God is now calling Chan in this pivotal moment. His mission is to serve and uplift churches and believers through the transformative power of the Holy Spirit’s ministry.
